Training and Placement efforts form a continuous process at the Indian Academy Trust Group of Educational Institutions. To start with, students are given special training to augment their skills in several areas like Language proficiency, Spoken English, Communication and Presentation skills, Computer skills etc. These skills supplement the university course syllabus. Training in teamwork is given by means of group assignments, presentations and interpersonal skills labs. Specific training in Computer languages, Networks and Operating system platforms are given on demand. Students are given coaching in model competitive exams, facing interviews, presentation skills and taking part in group discussions Interaction with Industry and Business is accorded high priority by the Trust institutions and is a continuous process. Though Industrial Training is part of the university syllabus, additional efforts are under taken with greater intensity, Students are given industrial projects as periodic assignments. Monthly industrial visits are arranged. Interactive sessions with eminent persons from industry, business and other walks of life are arranged regularly. Students are encouraged and given assistance and guidance to take part in inter-college competitions, seminars etc. A Placement Coordinator  is assigned at the start of every academic session/batch. The person is a senior faculty member who is in constant touch with industry and business and is attuned to their needs. Formal placement season starts in March every year. The bio data of graduating students are mailed to industry and business leaders and the HR dept of their companies. Preliminary screening is arranged as per the individual requirements of the employers. Subsequently Campus Placement Interviews are arranged. Feedback is regularly obtained from interviewers and utilized for further improvements in the student training processes. In addition, the Placement Coordinator is in touch with the employers and circulates the student bio data as and when need arises for any particular position. The students of Indian Academy Educational Institutions have been placed in responsible positions in several industries such as Biotech, HealthCare, IT Software etc.
