Academic Scholarship

Academic performance of students in monthly tests, term exams and Semester examinations are constantly monitored and meritorious students (top three ranks) from each course are recognized and encouraged through merit scholarships / prizes. 
 

Social Service Avenues

Students and staff of Indian Academy Group of Institutions take immense pride in undertaking community development projects. Annual Blood donation camps are organized in association with voluntary non-government organizations. Text books, note books, classroom furniture etc. are donated to the needy schools. Many guest lectures that promote social awareness are organized to infuse a sense of community welfare. Rallies are organized to promote social awareness on important issues like AIDS awareness, Polio eradication, Road safety, Environmental issues etc.
 

Sports

We recognize the importance of a broad range of physical and emotional outlets to a well balanced college experience. Students are encouraged to participate in games and sports. Expansion of athletic facilities will be given top priority in the coming years. Students are coached and motivated to participate in inter-collegiate and inter-university competitions.
 

Field Trips

Field trips and Industrial visits, are undertaken on a regular basis providing students with opportunities to interact with distinguished academic/technical members in their respective fields of specialization.
 

Student Clubs

Indian Academy strongly believes and promotes creative programming and growth through educational activities outside the classroom. In tune with our philosophy, a MANAGEMENT CLUB, SCIENCE CLUB, and an IT CLUB have been established. Student members belonging to these clubs in association with faculty organize many activities throughout the year such as SEMINARS, GUEST LECTURES, DEBATES, WORKSHOPS, etc., Such group activities foster personal growth and social competency among students.

CET Coaching

Candidates seeking admission into Medical, Dental and Engineering courses in government and private colleges within Karnataka must take up this examination for free as well as payment seats allotted by Government of Karnataka.

Indian Academy Pre-university College offers special coaching to its II PUC students to prepare them for Common Entrance Test (CET) of Karnataka.
Separate additional classes are conducted by special team of faculty in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology (all four CET subjects) to students seeking CET from our college. As part of the training each student will be made to solve CET Question Papers of the last 10 years. A daily assignment includes question papers exclusively set for this program on CET format. This program is very popular and this coaching program is benefiting many students.
