Faculty and Physical Resources
Indian Academy Education Trust, the parent body of Indian Academy College of Nursing and School of Nursing has already established many institutions in diverse fields. Combining this experience and strength, both College of Nursing and School of Nursing have been established, providing all necessary lecture halls, laboratories and library facilities. Lecture halls are furnished with modern furniture and latest audiovisual aids and equipments. Laboratories are well planned and equipped with the state of the art facilities. Highly qualified and experienced teachers impart quality education by systematic and simple teaching methodologies.
Clinical Facilities
Clinical experience is provided through clinical rotations at multi specialty parent hospital and in other major Government Hospitals and Primary Health Care Centers. Our parent hospital is a high tech multi disciplinary health care center. Besides general clinical facilities, other facilities available are Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic Trauma Care Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Nephrology, Cardiology and Psychiatry units. Transportation is arranged for regular hospital and field trips.
Eligibility:
M.Sc., Nursing - 2 years course:
55% aggregate in B.Sc. Nursing / Post Certificate B.Sc., Nursing degree of any university or its equivalent. Should have a minimum of one year experience in Hospital or Nursing educational Institution or Community Health Setting from the registration date of the qualifying exam.
B.Sc. Nursing 4 years course:
Pass in 10+2/PUC/PDC or Vocational Higher Secondary education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. Candidate must have secured minimum 45% in these optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
P B B.Sc., - Post Basic Bachelor of Science -2 years course:
Student should hold a diploma in GNM and should be a registered Nurse
General Nursing and Midwifery 3.5 years course:
Pass in 10+2/PUC/PDC or Vocational Higher Secondary education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. Candidate must have secured minimum 40% in these optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
