Teacher's day

Teaching is a noble profession and teachers are the pillars of society. They are role models for their students and they also act as parents with constant care at schools. At IADC, the students paid rich tributes to their mentors on Teachers Day. They made the day special to teachers through various activities.

The students showed their gratitude to all the teachers with greetings in the morning, as they entered. Classes were suspended and the students took over the responsibility of entertaining the faculty. Their politeness and hospitality was heart warming. Various games and programs conducted by the students expressed their admiration and respect for the teachers. Their involvement added that distinct touch of love.

Teachers walked the ramp as models, answered questions by students and were punished when answers were wrong, won prizes for other competitions like onion cutting, showing expertise in using both hands and in dressing up quickly. These games brought back memories of their school days to the teachers.

When the day drew to an end the teachers were moved by the affection showered on them. Many may have resolved to give their best to the students. Teachers have great influence on students and can inspire them to achieve greatness. ‘A teacher effects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops' - Henry Adams.
