From ancient days the relationship between brothers and sisters is said to be the best relationship. We, the students of NSS, got the privilege of visiting the orphanage run by Infant Jesus Church in Vivekanagar, on this auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan.
We were guided by our coordinator of NSS Mr. Ramesh. We were nearly thirty NSS students in number. We were greeted by the children of the orphanage who showed their true love for every one of us. One of the NSS students taught the children the significance of Raksha Bandhan. Rakhi's were tied. Later snacks and sweets were distributed to the children. After that many games were organized by the NSS students of Indian Academy Degree College which brought out the hidden talents of the children. Winners of the games were given prizes like books, pens etc.
The smiles on the children's faces made us thank our coordinator and the management for this golden opportunity
