The Indian Academy Group of Institutions Organized the Graduation Day 2009 on Wednesday, 29th April 2009. About 600 students from the under graduate and post graduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management were awarded the certificates.

Mr. Karma Yeshey, Director, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Royal Govt of Bhutan was the chief guest and delivered the convocation address. He also presented the Graduation Day Certificates to meritorious students of various courses.

Dr. T. Somasekhar, Chairman, Indian Academy Group of Institutions presided over the function. In his presidential remarks, he highlighted the achievements of the Institution and the steps taken to establish quality systems in the institution. He also stressed the need for quality in the light of global challenges faced by the students.

Dr. Jesiah Selvam, Director, Indian Academy School of Management Studies welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest.

Dr. G. Venkatesh, Principal, Indian Academy Degree College administered the oath to the graduating students.
Dr. T. Ramakrishna, Director, Research and Development gave a brief and inspiring message to the students.
Mr. Karma Yeshey was also present on this occasion.
Mrs. Meena Laad, HOD, Dept of Physics proposed the vote of thanks.
The Program concluded with the National Anthem.
